A local organization hopes to ensure kids have what they need when they head Back to School in the coming weeks with an event this weekend at the Boys and Girls Club in Cedartown.

Saturday’s Pryor to Success Summer Extravaganza is coming up from 2 to 6 p.m. and there’s opportunities to take part and enjoy and afternoon at the club for the free event.

School supplies are being handed out, food will be available and even haircuts are being offered for youth heading back to the classroom at the beginning of August. Additionally, youth resources, activities, a pop-up shop and a live DJ are planned for the day.

The organization is still accepting donations of school supplies for those interested in helping out.
