Congratulations goes out to a few of Polk County’s law enforcement officers who received promotions that were announced this morning.
Sgt. Kevin Chandler now heads up Special Operations, Cpl. Mike Stewart earned stripes as one of the PCSO K-9 officers, Sgt. Kerry Eason earned another stripe in his promotion from corporal, and Cpl. Breton Watters also received a promotion.

We are very excited to announce some of our most recent promotions/changes within our Office:
Kevin Chandler has transferred from Shift to Special Operations SGT, Mike Stewart has promoted from K9 Deputy on shift to K9 CPL in Special Operations with partner(K9-Thor), Kerry Eason has promoted from Shift CPL to SGT and Breton Watters has promoted from Shift Deputy to CPL.
All four of these Officers represent our Office very well and we are thankful for their leadership and service to our County, help us celebrate in their promotion and new assignment.
