A local organization is hoping to give back this holiday season to those in need in the Rockmart area next month.

Polk County Outreach Ministries are holding a free food box giveaway on Saturday, December 7 ahead of the holiday season. The event at the Sisterhood Club House at 840 W. Polk St., Rockmart is set from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Donations for the upcoming giveaway are welcome. They are seeking toys, clothing for both children and adults, and any monetary donations to help with purchasing gifts.
