The above photos were posted on the Rockmart High School Facebook page this morning as Spirit Week opened.
Students and staff came to school on Tuesday in a variety of outfits from different eras of Rockmart High history during the opening day of Spirit Week for Homecoming, which concludes on Friday evening. Freshman took on the 1950s, the sophomores wore stles from the 1960s, the junior class wore clothing popular in the 1970s and the characters of the 1980s came to life via the senior class.
The festivities continue this evening at 7 p.m. when Jacket Nation is invited to come to take part in the annual Homecoming Parade in downtown Rockmart.
The Jackets will crown a Homecoming Queen and King this coming Friday evening at halftime of the Coahuila Creek game at home.
Check back for more updates on Spirit Week as they become available.
