Mr. Phillip “Scott” Hackney, age 65, of Cedartown passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024.
Mr. Hackney was born in Cedartown, Georgia, January 15, 1959, son of the late John Hackney and Louise Landrum Hackney.
Scott was an avid hunter and loved watching NACAR Racing. He spent many years working as a welder in his family’s business.
He is survived by his sisters and brothers: Kaye Bell, Alisa Hackney, Dodie Rowell, Randy Hackney, and Andy Hackney; his companion, Ann Strickland; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
In keeping with Scott’s wishes, he will be cremated and no formal services are planned at this time.
