Mrs. Peggy Janice Queen

Mrs. Peggy Janice Queen, age 74, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. 

Mrs. Queen was born November 25, 1949, to the late Carl Elmer Broome and the late Pearl Viola Johnson Broome.

Mrs. Queen was a dedicated and hardworking mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She worked hard to support her family and did so to her very last breath.

Her last job was as a Supervisor for Tallatoona Heating and Air. She was the rock of her family and will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Queen is preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years, Clarence Leonard Queen, Jr. and her son, Christopher Duane Smith.

Mrs. Queen is survived by her loving children, Lori Hernandez (Raymundo) and Daniel Smith; grandchildren, Devin Lewis (Jasmine), Sara Hernandez, and Haley, Cody, Will, and Beth; and 7 loving great-grandchildren.

In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Queen will be cremated and the family will have a memorial gathering of friends at a later date.
