The building is done, the move is complete and the doors are open for business.

The new Dollar General – branded as a market – opened its doors today to customers at the new West Avenue location in Cedartown.

Movers were still at work as of this afternoon packing away the old location on South College Street following several days of the former store closing, as the new one was still being readied for customers.

As of this earlier this afternoon, most of the shelves were stocked but no cold items had been loaded into the coolers.

Dollar General’s new location in Cedartown will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
