A new radio show is coming to WZOT Radio in Rockmart, and it’ll feature a host you know well.

Jennifer Hulsey, former County Commission and educator, now has her own insurance agency and is taking to the radiowaves starting next week in a show being aired meant to help people better understand insurance, and what’s happening in Polk County as well.

Rhonda Heuer of Polk Family Connection will be joining Hulsey regularly for updates about the community, along with Sheriff Johnny Moats and Chief Deputy Jonathan Blackmon. She said her goal with the show is to get valuable information into the hands of consumers and members of our community.

“It’s an informative show where we want to make sure that people know all they can about insurance, Medicare and the basics, but also providing information to the community that they need to be aware of from sources they trust,” Hulsey said.

11 a.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of every month. The first episode on WZOT will be airing on April 6, and following that the second will be on air on April 20.

Check back for more about the first episode, Insurance 101, and the second, which will be a Medicare 101 session.
