Mrs. Nancy Susan Forsyth Weaver, age 65, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023.
Nancy was born in Rome, GA, on February 28, 1958, a daughter of the late Frank Forsyth and Eunice Latham Forsyth. She had lived all of her life in Rockmart and was a member of Piedmont Avenue Baptist Church.
She enjoyed arts and crafts, loved her animals, flowers, gardening, and making visits to the Goodwill Store. Nancy loved her annual trips to Gulf Shores, AL, with her son.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her sister, Franky Jane Whalen.
Survivors include her daughter, Nikki Weaver Hughes and her husband, Timothy; son Jesse Ray Weaver and his wife, Cybelle; seven grandchildren, Everett, Elizabeth, Eve, Elijah, Julius, Jayden, and Jade; special sister, Renita White; nephew, Tim Whalen; niece, Miranda Whalen; and her animals that she left behind.
Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, October 2, 2023, at 11:00 am at Rockmart Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Monday morning from 9:00 am until 10:30 am at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
