Mrs. Nancy Paris

Mrs. Nancy Paris, age 78, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Thursday May 16, 2024 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Paris was born in Salem, New Jersey, to the late Mr. Richard Clyde Jackson and the late Mabel Clare Jones Jackson. After high school, Mrs. Paris worked for Mondo Bakery, now known as Kellogg’s, where she retired after a long successful career in production.

Known by her family as an avid reader, Mrs. Paris loved reading works by the respected authors such as Nora Roberts.

Also a huge music fan, Mrs. Paris was known to enjoy the works of Elvis, the Beatles, Dolly Parton, and Reba McEntire.

Along with her parents, Mrs. Paris is preceded in death by her loving husband, Gary Paris.

Mrs. Paris is survived by her loving children, James Paris (Marie), Brett Paris, Kelli Privett, and Andrea Harrell; brothers, James Jackson and Jay Jackson; grandchildren, Darian, Devin, Drew, Carissa, Kagan, and Kendra; and great-grandchildren, Zayden, Paris, and Avery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Paris will be conducted Sunday May 19, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Brazier officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday May 19 from 11:00 AM until the service hour at 1:00 PM at Litesey Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Kane Crider, John Becknell, Matt Johnson, Wade Bell, George Wills, and Kagan Floyd.
