Mrs. Willie Beatrice Gilley

Mrs. Willie Beatrice Gilley, age 90, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020.  She was born on March 28, 1930 in Borden Springs, Alabama.  She was the daughter of the late Lewis and Bessie Wesson Byers.

Mrs. Gilley is survived by her son, James David Pollard; grandchildren, David Lynn Pollard, Dalton James Pollard, Candy Bryan(James) and Jason Pollard; and great-grandchildren Sara Lynn Pollard, Patrick Bryan, Nathan Bryan, Janea Bryan, Jt Hamilton and Cliff Hamilton; great-great grandchildren, Maren Bryan and Bennett Bryan; daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Pollard. Several nieces, nephews and other extended family also survive.

Mrs. Gilley is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Felton Pollard; her second husband Glenn Gilley; daughter, Debbie Pollard; sons Robert Pollard and Jerry Pollard; sisters, Vivian Ridley, Paralee Atkins, Lorenne Lorren and Ruby Lorren; brothers, Charles Ray Byers, Homer Byers, Clinton Joe Byers, Emmett Byers and Gordon Byers; granddaughter, Brandy Hamilton.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Willie Beatrice Gilley will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 1:00 in the afternoon in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leon Allen officiating. Interment will follow in the Borden Springs Church of Christ Cemetery.

The family of Mrs. Gilley will receive family and friends on Saturday, October 3, 2020 from 11 o’clock in the morning until the funeral service hour at the funeral home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: David Lynn Pollard, Dalton James Pollard, Nathan Bryan, Patrick Bryan, Jamie Bryan, and Jason Pollard.

In accordance with the guidelines and recommendations set forth by the CDC, social distancing guidelines will be in place as well as the use of masks requested for all services provided for Mrs. Willie Beatrice Gilley.
