Mrs. Sandra Head Dunlap, age 76, of Aragon, GA passed away Monday, October 19, 2020 in a Rome medical center.

She was born in Rockmart, GA on September 7, 1944 a daughter of the late Calvin Head and the late Ruby Nell Weaver Head. Sandra had lived all of her life in the Rockmart and Aragon area. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and a former owner and operator of convenience stores in Aragon. Sandra enjoyed working crossword puzzles, going to yard sales and QVC shopping.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Dunlap, Sr. and special friend Joe McElwee.

Survivors include her daughters: Kris (Al) Statham, Aragon, Kelly Shackleford, Rockmart and Sandi (Jeremy) Hulsey, Rockmart; special granddaughter, Hannah (Corey) Price, Aragon; special great granddaughter, and great grandson: Kiley Statham and Braidyn Statham, Aragon; five grandchildren ; six great grandchildren; sister, Paulette (Johnny) Combs, Aragon; two nieces and 3 great nieces and nephew also survive.

In keeping with her wishes Sandra will be cremated and a celebration of her life will be held at the home of Kris and Al Statham, 236 Flint Hill Road Aragon, GA on Wednesday,October 21st..
