Mrs. Marion Harkins Womack, age 82 of Rockmart, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021.
Mrs. Womack, affectionately known as “Nanny” by her family, was born May 14, 1939 to the late Mr. William Worth Harkins and the late Mrs. Ellie Mae Rogers Harkins.
She retired as a machine operator from Prince Street Technologies in Cartersville, GA. An avid Atlanta Braves fan, she enjoyed watching them play and never missed a game.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Harold Dean Womack; a daughter, Pam Womack Fincher; grandsons, Jeremy Fincher and Jason Womack, and brother, Bill Harkins.
Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law; Wanda and Larry Gore of Rockmart; daughters, Donna Ballew of Rockmart and Teresa Womack of Aragon; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Teresa Womack of Cedartown; son, Todd Womack of Aragon; sisters, Judy Ann Marini and Brenda Sue Hill of Florida; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Private family interment services will be held with Bro. Bud Davis officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Wade Fincher, Ronald Carter, Jamie Wilkes, Johnny Anderson, Tyler Graham, Josh Graham, and Josh Cates.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Caleb Carter and Nicholas Womack.
Freeman Harris Funeral Home of Rockmart is in charge of the funeral services for Mrs. Marion Harkins Womack.
