Mrs. Lois Beck Tuck, age 93 of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021.
She was born in Polk County on May 28, 1927, to George and Clara Beck. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde H. Tuck. She was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church in Cedartown.
She is survived by her Son, Ronnie Tuck and Leejan; Grandson Miles Tuck and Alyssa; Grandson Scott McDurmon and Amanda; Granddaughter Jinna Ellis and Greg; Granddaughter Breanna Daniel and Lance; Granddaughter Hollynne Tuck and Matt. In addition, she is survived by 10 greatgrandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Lois was the epitome of Southern charm and grace. Despite her fierce love of family, combined with her gracious ways and impeccable manners, she possessed indomitable strength and courage. Lois excelled in the role of mother and grandmother.
She was a role model who positively affected the lives of so many.
Keeping with Lois’ wishes, her remains were cremated and her funeral will be held Sunday, March 21th, 2021 at the First United Methodist Church in Cedartown at 2:00 p.m. followed by graveside service and interment at Greenwood Cemetery when she will be laid to rest next to her late husband, Clyde.
The family will receive friends at the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home in Cedartown on Saturday, March 20th from 4-6 PM.
