Mrs. Joyce Floyd Nicholson, age 81 of Pell City, Alabama and formerly of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Saturday morning, August 22, 2020.
Mrs. Floyd was born July 27, 1939 in Cedartown Georgia to the late Joe Brown & Lois Waddle Floyd and was also preceded in death by brothers, J. B. Floyd, Melvin Floyd, Wendell Floyd and Marvin Floyd and a sister, Betty Ledbetter.
Surviving are Sons Scott & Beth Nicholson and Gregg & Julie Nicholson, Daughter Lisa N. & Phillip Jones, Brothers Harold Floyd & Dennis Floyd, Sister Connie & Jerry Ingram, Eight Grandchildren, One Great Grandson and a number of Nieces & Nephews also surviving.
Funeral services for Joyce Nicholson will be conducted Tuesday August 25, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Lester Litesey Funeral Home with Mr. Scott Nicholson and Mr. Gregg Nicholson officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens with Mr. Brian Floyd. The family will receive friend Tuesday August 25, 2020 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour. The Family ask the everyone Please follow the guidelines set forth by the CDC and keep proper distance. Everyone is welcome to wear mask. We ask that the guidelines are followed to protect the family we are serving, all visitors.
Pallbearers are Brian Floyd, Ricky Floyd, Michael Floyd, Carson Canant, Alex Canant and Justin Glass, Honorary Palbearers are Hal Floyd, Phillip Jones, David Nicholson, Michael Ledbetter, Joseph Ingram and Robert Stephens.
