Mrs. Flora Morgan Chandler, age 96 of Aragon, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021.
She was born July 9, 1924 in Rockmart, daughter of the late Mr. Lawrence Morgan and the late Mrs. Louise Clinton White. She retired as a fabricator at Goodyear and was a 54-year member of Euharlee Baptist Church. She loved sewing, making clothes, and visiting Gatlinburg, TN.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard A. Chandler; stepfather, John Teague White; brother, Bill White; and sister, Syble Powell.
Survivors include: son, Ricky Chandler of Aragon; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Jane Chandler of Rockmart; daughter, Janice Rutledge of Aragon; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Chandler will be held Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Euharlee Baptist Church at 3:00 P.M with Rev. Howard Reese, Rev. Stevie Waddell, and Rev. Billy Chambers officiating. Interment will follow in the Aragon Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Freeman Harris Funeral Home on Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Brent Williams, Scott Ingle, Tim Holly, and Mike Roberson.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Milton Dover, Chris Chandler, and Chad Chandler.
