Charlotte Worthington Miller Lewis

Charlotte Worthington Miller Lewis, 88, of Lynn Haven, FL, passed away at her home on May 8, 2021. Charlotte was born July 2, 1933, in Cedartown, Georgia to the late John and Carrie Worthington.

As a young girl, her family lived in the house of Dr. Charles W. Peek in the Antioch community of Cedartown. She often shared her favorite memories of this time and it always held a special place in her heart. After moving to Panama City, FL, she got a job with the Bay County School Board where she worked until she retired. She enjoyed spending time with her family.  

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Preston Worthington, Marie Hightower, and Van Worthington; husband Edward Lewis; and sons David Miller and James Miller II.

Survivors include daughter, Cathy Howell; sister, Carolyn (Don) McCollum; stepsons, Mark Lewis and John (Jenny) Lewis; grandchildren Megan Howell, Kari (Caleb) Chappell, Cody Lewis, Harley Lewis, Jennifer (Curt) Rodriguez, Ryan Stacy, Natalie (Anthony) Watson, and Kelsey (Josh) Perry; great-grandchildren Katherine Chappell, Kennedy Chappell, Caroline Chappell, Luke Watson, Pressley-Mae Rodriguez, Kailyn Stacy, Jameson Stacy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Charlotte Lewis will be held Wednesday May 12, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the Antioch Cemetery with Mr. Tony Brazier officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. at the Lester Litesey Funeral Home.
