Mr. Robert Lawrence “Larry” Best, Jr. age 66, of Cave Spring, GA, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021.
Larry was born in Ridgeland, SC on March 3, 1955, a son of the late Robert Lawrence Best, Sr. and the late Elaine Jones Best.
Larry had lived the greater part of his life in Cave Spring and was a member of The Church at Rome.
He enjoyed woodworking and blacksmith work, but his greatest love was his family and spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Thelma Terry.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Acker Best, to whom he was married on March 26, 1976; two daughters: Lauren Wigley and her husband Levi, Cedartown and Amy Rowe, Bedford, NH; grandchildren: Ava Ross, Lawson Wigley, Hunter Sarsfield, Maddie Sarsfield and Peyton Sarsfield; sister, Dee Simms and her husband Billy, Cave Spring; and step-father, Gerald “Honey” Lindsey and his wife, Reba, Rome.
In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Best will be cremated and memorial services to celebrate his life will be announced later.
