Mr. Mitchell Lee Yarbrough, age 63, of Silver Creek, GA, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.

Mr. Yarbrough was born on December 29, 1957 in Rome, GA, to his parents: Walter Paul Yarbrough and Nora Leola Mitchell Yarbrough. Mitchell lived the greater part of his life in Rockmart before moving to Silver Creek in 2014.

He was a member of Victory Baptist Church for many years and had worked for Lockheed and Tip Top Poultry as the lead man in waste water management. Mitchell loved antiques, gardening, old cars and corgi dogs.

Mr. Yarbrough was a loving husband, father, step-father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Beth Yarbrough, brother, Michael Yarbrough and grandmother, Allie Mitchell.

Mr. Yarbrough is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Yarbrough of Silver Creek, GA, daughter, Nikki Goodwin (Adam) of Rockmart, GA, step-son, Rhys Truelove of MI, and 4 grandchildren: Lexi, Rylee, Ember Goodwin and Lane Johnson.

Funeral Services for Mr. Mitchell Lee Yarbrough will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Bray officiating. Interment will follow at Live Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be the following: Adam Goodwin, Aaron Goodwin, and Dustin Goodwin.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
