Mr. Homer Edward “Ed” Swann, age 89, of Rockmart, GA passed away Monday, September 14, 2020.
Mr. Swann was born in Knoxville, TN on May 10, 1931, a son of the late John Swann and the late Dorothy Thornton Swann. Rockmart has been home for Ed since 2003, moving here from the Acworth area. He was of the Baptist faith, loved to build model planes and cars, and was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Mr. Swann is survived by his son, Steven Swann (Teresa), of Rockmart.
Graveside funeral and interment services will be held Friday, September 18, 2020 at 10:30 am at the Georgia National Cemetery with military honors.
