Mr. George Hubert Haney, age 91 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021. He was born on November 28, 1929 in Polk County. He was the son of the late Jim and Bessie Smith Haney.
Mr. Haney is survived by his sister, Betty Dean Easterwood; granddaughter, Melody Beeler; great-grandchildren, Anna Beeler and Landon Beeler; great-great-grandchild, David Michael Kash Holtzclaw; and daughter-in-law, Wanda Haney.
Mr. Haney is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Myrtie Lou Porter Haney; son, David Haney; sister, Louise McWhorter; and brother, Fred Haney.
The funeral arrangements for Mr. George Hubert Haney will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at six o’clock in the evening in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Mr. Phil Thomson officiating. In keeping with Mr. Haney’s wishes he will be cremated after the funeral service.
The family of Mr. Haney will receive family and friends on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from four o’clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
In accordance with the guidelines and recommendations set forth by the CDC, social distancing guidelines will be in place as well as the use of masks required for all services provided for Mr. Haney.
