Mr. Dennis Edward Widner, Sr. passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022 at Wellstar Paulding Hospital in Hiram, Georgia.

Mr. Widner was born November 24, 1945 in Atlanta, Georgia to Mr. Edward Widner and Mrs. Reva Gay Lee Widner.

He has been married to Mrs. Patricia Anne White for 56 years. Mr. Widner worked as a teenager at the Loew’s Grand Theater in Atlanta, Georgia. He was an usher. He has worked as a truck driver at Southeastern Freight Lines and Drug Transport Incorporated for (35 years).

He had a passion for his granddaughters, Morgan, Jane and Kate “Little Big Girl”.

Mr. Widner was preceded in death by: Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward (Reva) Widner; Brother, Mr. William Paul “Billy” Widner.

Mr. Widner is survived by: Wife of 56 years, Mrs. Pat White Widner; Son, Mr. Dennis Edward (Debra) Widner, Jr.; Son, Mr. Randall Lee (Tiffany) Widner; Grandchildren, Morgan Elizabeth Widner, Jane Abigail Widner and Kate Corinne Widner.

Funeral services for Mr. Widner will be held Thursday, March 17, 2022, 2:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Dennis Rich will officiate. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.

Visitation for Mr. Widner will be Wednesday, March 16, 2022, 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. and Thursday, March 17, 2022, 12:00 – 2:00 P.M.
