Mrs. Mary Vines Wilson, age 63, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2023.
Mrs. Wilson was born November 18, 1960, in Cedartown, Georgia, the daughter of the late Reverend Robert Vines, Sr. and Shirley Flatt Vines.
Mrs. Wilson could always bring a smile or laughter into a room. She was dedicated to her family for whom she loved and prayed for daily. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be missed deeply but kept alive by her shared memories.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her siblings: Pat “Tank” Oswalt, Darlene Wilson, and Reverend John Vines.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by her loving husband, Ed Wilson; son, Anthony Wilson; daughter, Lisa Morris and her husband, Brad; grandchildren, Courtney Vines, Corey Vines, Dylan Dobbs, Taylor Wilson, Anthony Wilson, Jr. Andrew Wilson, and Jenna Wilson; great grandchild, Lennox Martinez; brother, Reverend Robert Vines and his wife, Michelle; sister, Wanda McDowell.
Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 2:00 PM, in the sanctuary of Valley View Baptist Church, with Reverend John Redding and Reverend Danny Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot of Valley View Baptist Church Cemetery.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Anthony Wilson, Jr., Dylan Dobbs, Corey Vines, Greg Jones, Zack Vines, and Jacob Ray. Honorary pallbearers will include Andrew Wilson and Lennox Martinez.
Mrs. Wilson’s family will receive friends, also on Saturday afternoon from noon until 2:00 PM in the sanctuary of Valley View Baptist Church.
