Ms. Mary Dell Watford, age 71, of Aragon, GA, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023.
Mary was born on December 22, 1951, in Rockmart, GA, to her late parents: John Hugh Morgan and Sarah Crumley Morgan.
Ms. Watford lived the greater part of her life in Polk County and was of Baptist faith. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, reading, cooking and Japanese art.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Cherry Shoup and Donna Smith.
Ms. Watford is survived by her daughter, Natalie Watford (Corey Hosier) of Acworth, GA; sister, Barbara Compton of McDonough, GA; brothers: Marvin Morgan of Bremen, GA, and Ronald Morgan of Aragon, GA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services for Ms. Mary Dell Watford will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Live Oak Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Stevie Waddell officiating. Following the service, Ms. Watford will be cremated.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM.
