Fall is in the air and this weekend offers the opportunity to enjoy a celebration for Market on Main in Cedartown, set to get underway on Saturday morning and continue through the afternoon.

Plans had been for several additional events going on during the downtown fall festival coming up from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. – with traffic closed off on Main Street from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. – but events have been slightly curtailed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions on large gatherings put in place by Governor Brian Kemp.

This year with the move up to November for the Market on Main, the restrictions have forced Cedartown to call off the annual Shriner’s Parade and the Humane Society Dog Show, but there’s still plenty of fun and shopping to enjoy on Saturday.

Items for sale from vendors at Market on Main this year include: Metal signs, Firepits, Soy candles wax melts, Sport plaques, Wreaths crocheted items, Handcrafted lamps, Wooden signs, Fragrance oils, body products, License plate frames, Jewelry, Wooden coolers, Flower arrangements., Bird feeders and houses, Sundials, Reborn baby dolls, Flower arrangements and Christmas Decor for the holidays coming up.

Patrons with youth can also enjoy face painting and temporary glitter tattoos.

Food vendors will also have a variety of items this year, including: Candy apples, Peanut brittle. Fried pies, Cakes, cupcakes, Preserves, Street tacos, Nachos, Cotton candy, Pulled pork sand, Philly cheesesteaks, Hotdogs, Boiled peanuts, Funnel cakes, Ribs, Chicken and other baked goods.
