A yet unnamed man is being airlifted for further treatment with serious injuries after he was run over by a tractor.

A law enforcement source familiar with the incident said that an older gentleman was driving a tractor on Knight Road and fell off, then was run over in what was described as a freak accident.

The full extent of his injuries aren’t yet known but are serious enough to require a Life Flight trip to an area medical center, the source confirmed.

Knight Road runs between Grady and Bethlehem Roads in between Cedartown and Rockmart in the Fish Creek area.
