A local softball team looking to give back will be providing some treats for kids during an event they’ll be holding this coming Saturday, October 31.

The Halloween Trunk or Treat being hosted by the Benchwarmers Fastpitch softball team is being held at 525 Piedmont Highway, Cedartown from 5 to 7 p.m.

Teammates will be out for the contactless event providing candy for participants, and social distancing guidelines will be adhered to during the event.

Additionally, the team will be selling hot dogs, chips, pickles, drinks, popcorn and cotton candy to help raise money for their fall season.

The 14 and under team wanted to provide the event for the community to have something fun and family friendly to enjoy on Halloween this year.
