Mrs. Judy Short, age 67, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023.
Judy was born September 26, 1956, in Arab, Alabama, the daughter of Sidney Baker and Wanza Knight Cooter.
Judy loved being outside and working in her yard. She always enjoyed going shopping and searching for bargains. Above all, she loved her family deeply and her presence in their lives will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mr. Wayne Short; son, James Short; brothers, Ricky Baker, Paul Cooter, and Bruce knight; and son in law, Bryan Miller.
Judy is survived by her daughter, Karen Miller; son, Jerry Short and his wife, Christy; five grandchildren; brother, Tommy Baker; and sisters, Jane Legg, and Marian Grant. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
There are no formal services planned at this time.
