Mrs. Jeannie Wolfe, age 67, of Calhoun, GA, passed away Wednesday afternoon, May 22, 2024.
Jeannie was born in Atlanta, GA, on August 11, 1956, daughter of the late Glen Harrison Sisson and Margaret Roberson Sisson.
She had lived the greater part of her life in Rockmart and was a member of the Euharlee Baptist Church in Aragon. Jeannie was a former Certified Nursing Assistant at Redmond Hospital. She enjoyed sewing and quilting and taking care of elderly people.
Jeannie’s greatest joy was the time she was able to spend with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter, Rosaleigh. She was known as one who loved her Lord Jesus Christ and also was a lover of animals.
In addition to her parents, Jeannie was preceded in death by her husband, Don Wolfe on December 28, 2016, whom she married June 26, 1974, a brother, Ricky Sisson, sister, Carolyn Womack, and several nieces.
Jeannie is survived by two sons, Scott (Audra) Wolfe, and Chris Wolfe; daughter-in-law, Patty Ayers Wolfe; five grandchildren, Sara Rios, Matthew Wolfe, Aidan Wolfe, Haedyn Wolfe and Arianna Herman; one great-granddaughter, Rosaleigh Rios; sister, Joyce (Whit) Dunn; brothers, Carlton Sisson and William Sisson; sister-in-law, Sheila Norris. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Jeannie will be held on Friday afternoon, May 24, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Aragon Cemetery.
Jeannie’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
Pallbearers will include Chris Wolfe, Matthew Wolfe, William Sisson, Aidan Wolfe, Donald Sullivan, and Carlton Sisson.
Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory has charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Jeannie Wolfe.
