James Daniel Moody, age 65, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Monday evening, January 15, 2024, at his residence.

Daniel was born in Rockmart on February 18, 1958, son of the late Joe Wright Moody and Pearl Davis Moody.

He had lived all his life in Rockmart and enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. Daniel loved his family, was an humble and easy-going man who had lots of friends.

In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by two sisters, Diane Moody Jackson, and Debbie Patricia Wilson, and three nephews, Tyler Jackson, Cody Wilson, and Sparky Wilson.

Daniel is survived by a brother, David Moody; nieces Tonia Brock, Georgia Robinson, and Nacole Addison, and Autumn Kendall; nephews, Adam Jackson, Jesse Jackson, Adrian Currie, James Wilson, and Deric Wilson.

In keeping with his wishes, Daniel will be cremated, and no formal services are planned at this time.
