Polk Today provides this weekly feature promoting dogs and cats up for adoption at the Cedartown Polk County Humane Society. Please consider providing these pets a loving home or tell those who might be interested about their availability. But do be aware that giving pets as Christmas gifts must be done responsibly, so consider that during this season of holiday cheer when deciding to become a pet parent.
Cheerio
Cheerio is a sweet fluffy girl weighing in at about 2 lbs. She will grow but we don’t think she will be a large cat. We think her fur will be short to medium length. She is sweet and playful and would make a great addition to your home.

As with all of our cats and kittens, Cheerio has been tested for FIV and Feline leukemia, vaccinated appropriate for age, spayed, and microchipped. Microchip registration is included in the adoption fee. All our pets are given flea and heartworm preventatives monthly.
Kai
Kai is a happy sweet Chihuahua mix that weighs about 12 lbs. He walks well on a leash and seems to be housetrained. He is a little shy until he knows you then he is full of kisses for you. We think he is about 2 years old.
