A downtown shop is closing up, but won’t be gone forever with plans to reopen when the time is right for business to pick up in Cedartown.

Harris Skate Supply opened in May 2022 and brought local and area skaters the chance to shop with someone who knows their stuff, but that is coming to a close as the doors are being shuttered on the physical location this week.

Owner Jason Harris said on Tuesday night he is moving toward a digital-only business for the time being. Those who want to make purchases can contact him through the store’s Facebook page, which will remain available to customers.

Harris does plan to bring a physical location back to Cedartown in the future, and said once the Skate Park at the Goodyear Soccer Complex is completed, he’s likely to setup in the area to cater to patrons.
