Georgia State Patrol reported that two people were taken to the hospital following a Highway 278 wreck on Thursday, according to officials.

The GSP reported that a Chevy Silverado pickup and a Nissan Versa collided when the Versa was slowing down on to turn into a private driveway to the right, and was struck from behind by the pickup.

The Versa went off the road, down an embankment and into a ditch.

GSP reported that the driver from each vehicle was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries by ambulance

No additional information was available about the incident.
