A man died this past weekend after he was struck on Bellview Road by an SUV, according to Georgia State Patrol reports.

Christopher George Fee, 37, died of his injuries at the scene on Belleview Road on Saturday evening, December 10, when he was struck by a red Ford Escape.

Georgia State Patrol reported that Fee was walking in the eastbound lane of Belleview Road and was wearing dark clothing at the time when he was hit. GSP has not filed any charges or said anything else about their investigation into the incident.

Fee was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and was an employee of Camp Grave Service. He left behind four children, Elisha, Damein, Marcus, and Mason, a fiancé, Crystal Messer of Rockmart. Additionally his parents Jeanette Fee of Rockmart and his father, Judson Fee of Rockmart also survive.

Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home of Rockmart handled his services, and he was cremated.
