Mr. Gary Porterfield, age 77, of Cedartown, GA., passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024. Mr. Porterfield was born on February 20, 1946.
Mr. Porterfield was born February 20, 1946, to the late D.A. Porterfield and the late Lucille Swafford Porterfield. After high school, Mr. Porterfield led a successful career as a sales representative for Ohmeda Medical. A loving family man, Mr. Porterfield was dearly loved and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Porterfield is preceded in death by his brother, Howard Porterfield.
Mr. Porterfield is survived by his loving wife, Judy Porterfield; children, Scott Porterfield (Leeanne), Ben Porterfield (Ali), and Bevin Call (Sean); sister, Elaine Porterfield; grandchildren, Lily Porterfield, Emma Porterfield, and Colin Porterfield; and nephew, Eric Blair.
Funeral services for Mr. Porterfield will be conducted Sunday February 18, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with Jarrod Kinsey officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Litesey Funeral Home Saturday February 17 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
