It was near impossible at one point to even get into the Polk County Fairgrounds on Thursday evening at Polk County Police and several others partnered to celebrate Halloween with families.

Their annual Trunk-or-Treat event had traffic on the Highway 27 bypass in a long line waiting to get in as hundreds of youth collected their annual toll of candy from law enforcement, Polk School District and several local businesses participating in the 2024 event.
