During the second night of the Polk County Fair on September 7, local officials were out with members of Polk County’s Show Team to see if they have what it takes to lead livestock around an arena.

The event meant to be a promotional affair for the Polk County Show Team gave officials like Rockmart Mayor Sherman Ross, RHS principal Dr. Bo Adams and Cedartown City Manager Edward Guzman (among many others) the chance to see what its light under the bright lights on the arena floor leading around freshly coiffured cattle.

The 2023 Beef Show for the Fair takes place this coming weekend, September 16 at the fairgrounds beginning at 10 a.m.
