The Washington family celebrated together with Habitat for Humanity Coosa Valley and others who came to help usher in a new chapter in their lives: home ownership.

The October 13 ceremony saw the family get prayers of dedication for prosperity for their future, and the keys to their new home they helped build with sweat equity over a nearly two year time frame.

Ground broke on the new home in Aragon in May 2023.
