Crazzy “P” Arena and Youngs Grove Baptist Church co-hosted an event last Friday giving children across the community and their families the opportunity to enjoy some free fun ahead of the start of Holy Week in Polk County.

Their Easter Egg Hunt held on March 31 saw hundreds come out to enjoy an evening event that included free hot dogs and barbecue sandwiches for families who came out. The kids got to enjoy a large game of dodgeball and tag during Friday’s event.

Organizers also treated the crowd to a barrel racing demonstration before a brief message and the main event.

Kids lined up in specific areas by age, but the 5,000 eggs didn’t last long once youth took to the field and grabbed up all the plastic eggs.
