Those who are waiting for a taste of some frozen custard or just to grab a nostalgic-style meal won’t have to wait too long before the newest restaurant in Rockmart is completed.

The parking lot is already done, the stub outs for plumbing are in place and the next steps to come are foundations for the new Culver’s location in Rockmart, likely to be completed before Spring 2025 based on current progress.

Work on the new restaurant began in recent weeks on the site in front of the Rockmart Walmart off of Nathan Dean Parkway, and thanks to a stretch of dry, clear weather progress has been picking up on getting the location ready to serve customers.

Culver’s announced Rockmart as the newest location back in August following the groundbreaking for two others now in the process of getting their own construction underway just across the intersection at Dunkin Donuts and Longhorn Steakhouse.

Utilities and the driveway and parking lots into those two new locations have also recently been completed.

The first Culver’s opened in Sauk City, Wisconsin and has spread across the nation, including in the Metro Atlanta area. They feature burgers, chicken and other sandwiches, and frozen custard. Culver’s also have fried cheese curds, a Wisconsin staple at diner-style restaurants for generations.
