An afternoon celebration for a new business and another hosting an anniversary was a hit in Rockmart on Friday.

The Polk County Chamber of Commerce provided the big set of scissors welcoming WeCare Health and Wellness to the community for their grand opening celebration, and also joined in the fun with Merle Norman who held their 18th anniversary in Rockmart on May 21 as both businesses combined their efforts into a wider event.

Along with both businesses offering the opportunity for raffle prizes, local vendors and Rudy’s of Cedartown were part of the event from 3 to 7 p.m. to cap off a busy week for Polk County.

Merle Norman also showed off their newly renovated storefront as well.

WeCare Health and Wellness provides a variety of medical spa-based treatments, like Botox injections, dermal fillers and hydrafacials, among others. Merle Norman provides a variety of cosmetic products, accessories and more for women as well.
