The first-ever Mom’s United Food Truck Festival brought out a big crowd on Saturday afternoon and evening in downtown Cedartown, all in an effort to help raise money for research and support for those family members who have suffered from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
Saturday’s event brought out local and regional food trucks to the Ideal Bakery parking lot and around Stubbs Street, with additional vendors taking part and offering up a variety of items for patrons to peruse.
Mom’s United also had a inflatable up as part of the fundraiser event in downtown Cedartown.

Money raised by Mom’s United goes directly to families who have suffered a loss from SIDS in partnership with local and area funeral homes to help make financial contributions during difficult and unforeseen times.
The event additionally saw organizers providing information about SIDS and how others can help in the effort to ensure no family has to suffer a similar tragedy in the future.
The Mom’s United will be hosting the annual SIDS Walk in downtown Cedartown in October.
