Rockmart Fire and Rescue were called out to a facility on Industrial Boulevard this morning after a piece of equipment caught fire, according to officials.

Chief Todd Queen reported that firefighters were called out to Marietta Recycling at 327 Industrial Blvd. in Rockmart after a report of an equipment fire.

Queen said the fire was contained to just the piece of equipment outside in the rear of the facility, and no other damage was reported.

He said no injuries were reported from the incident. Employees were able to get back to work today without issue.

He noted the cause of the fire was under investigation at this time.
