The expansion of Ellianos in Polk County with a Cedartown location is still in the works, but it’ll likely be later this year before contractors break ground on the site next door to Regions Bank.
For months, a container has sat on the site of the future Ellianos Coffee in Cedartown where Frank Phillips of West Georgia Foods plans to build his second location in Polk. He already owns several of the coffee shops as a franchisee, along with the location off Nathan Dean Parkway in Rockmart.
As he’s working toward starting construction on the new one, he’s also planning a second Carrollton location at the same time.
He added the signage onto the container in recent days to show off what’s coming in the near future.
An exact date isn’t set yet for when he’ll break ground to begin work on the new Ellianos location, but he did say an announcement will be forthcoming before construction begins.
Phillips confirmed plans in February 2022 to bring a second location to Polk County, and also completed the Bremen location.
The regional coffee chain now has a total of 53 locations across North Florida, South Georgia, a few locations in Alabama and in the metro and around West Georgia including Lithia Springs, Dallas, and Carrollton among the two already listed in Bremen and Rockmart.
Ellianos is a drive-thru-based setup that serves up a variety of coffee drinks and food items.
