It doesn’t matter what the weather brings on Saturday, Aragon’s Frankie Morris is determined that the 1,044 Easter Baskets he has made for children will be going out.

Rain or shine, Morris said that the event for Saturday, March 27 at the Aragon Historical Society marking the second year in a row that he’ll hand out Easter Baskets to youth and free for all to come. They’ll be available while supplies last starting at 9 a.m.

The Easter Bunny will be there as well handing out baskets, Morris said. You’ll be able to take pictures briefly while baskets are being handed out.

However, social distancing requirements will be in place, and families are expected to form a line and remain six feet apart leading up the handicapped ramp of the Aragon Historical Society’s front porch.

Parking will be available at Tom Pittman Field’s parking lot.

Morris, who provided baskets to youth from donated items in 2020 as the pandemic was getting underway, is this year doing so in memory of his mother who helped him last year.
