Mrs. Doris June Hudson Davis, age 79 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.

She was born on March 22, 1946 in Cedartown, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Amos Henry Hudson, Jr. and Earl Dean Powell Hudson.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her son, James Keith Davis (Laura); daughter, Karen Stroup (Tommy); sisters, CheChee Day (Harold), Leigh Lee (Joey), Lynn Tillmann (Wayne); grandchildren, Josie, Katie and Karlie; great-grandchildren, Davis, Eli, Wren and Noah; nieces and nephews, Anna, Greg, Amy, Ava and Chloe; great-nieces, Alison, Jenna, Grace, Timberly and Ila; great-nephews, Ty, Julian and Dean. Several other extended family members also survive.

Mrs. Davis is preceded in death by her parents and husband, James E. Davis.

The funeral service for Mrs. Davis will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at eleven o’clock in the morning in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Locklear officiating, eulogies will be offered by Mrs. Debbie Frasier and Mrs. Che Chee Day. Interment will follow in the Pine Bower Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Greg Locklear and Mr. CJ Norris officiating.

The family of Mrs. Davis will receive family and friends on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from six o’clock in the evening until eight o’clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Jeff Sanders, Mike Bentley, Billy Powell, George Tanner, Dawson Sanders, and Jack Dawson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jayden Rodriguez and Rylen Rodriguez.
