Clemson’s Kobe Pace joins the #YOUMATTER Challenge for PSD grads

A campaign providing inspiration and positivity for students in the Polk School District this fall saw a high-profile recent grad who is away in South Carolina add his message to those being added by PSD on social media daily.

The campaign – reinforcing a positive message for each student as the school year continues toward the end of the first semester – has thus far involved teachers, coaches, students and alum like Pace who are trying to make a difference in the lives of students by making sure each and every one within the Polk School District knows they matter.

Among those who sent a message back home is Clemson Tigers running back Kobe Pace, who provided his #YOUMATTER message from Death Valley, also known as Clemson Memorial Stadium.

Superintendent Dr. Katie Thomas said the campaign is part of a yearlong effort to increase morale after a difficult 2020-21 school year. Check for more updates on the program on Polktoday.com.
