A new drive-thru coffeeshop is coming to Cedartown, and clearing work has finally begun after being announced last year.

Ellianos – which already has a location in Rockmart – announced their plans to come to Cedartown in 2022, but with the caveat of a location also underway in Carrollton at the same time.

The work seems to have finally begun in recent days for the new location being built by Frank Phillips, who owns the location in Rockmart as well.

He purchased land next to the Regions Bank location on North Main Street near the corner with East Avenue for the new Ellianos. It joins Jack’s as the latest construction project in Cedartown along the commercial corridor.

The franchise-based regional coffee chain is mainly focused around North Florida, South Georgia and Alabama. They’ve been moving into Northwest Georgia and the Metro Atlanta area over the past few years.

The Rockmart location opened in 2021.

Look for construction to be completed in the coming months, and an additional announcement about opening once that is completed.
