Get your Bob Ross on with this upcoming class being hosted by the Rockmart Cultural Arts Center later this month with a local talent who will provide a tutorial to help you start down a path toward unlocking your creativity.

Join local artist Beverly Culver for a landscape oil painting class for just $25 per participating (you’ll have to bring your own supplies, which are listed below) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Rockmart Cultural Arts Center building.

Learn more about oils during this workshop event and take home a glacier lake landscape with snowy mountains and trees in the backdrop with Culver.

A tabletop easel is available for participants to use at the RCAC, but they’ll need to bring the following painting supplies:

• Artist-grade or Winston student-grade paints in these colors: Alizarin Crimson, Cadmium Red, Cadmium Yellow, Ultramarine Blue, Prussian Blue and Titanium White.
• You can also bring the optional colors of: Lemon Yellow, Transparent Red Oxide, or Burnt Sienna.
• Gamsol
• Assorted brushes, bristles and synthetics
• 11x 14 canvas
• Paper towels
