Interested in joining the Polk County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors?

The organization representing businesses small and large in Polk County is looking for people who love the community and are willing to serve.

Nominations for new board members are now being accepted through August 21. Of note, nominees (or their businesses) should be members of the Chamber of Commerce in good standing to be considered.

Appointments are two years and the board, while voluntary is a working board that strives to bring value to our members. Board of Director’s duties includes attending Chamber Board Meetings (every other month), attending Ribbon Cuttings as your schedule allows, active participation in the board to bring value to membership, participation in fundraisers as necessary.

Those who meet the qualifications are welcome to nominate themselves or another individual. Please send the nominee’s name and the business they are affiliated with to info@polkgeorgia.com with the subject line NOMINEE by August 21. Chamber members will receive a ballot in September to make their selections for board appointments.
